It was blistering temperatures in North Lincolnshire where the Blades took on Scunthorpe United. But the heat didn't seem to distract United as they went on to a victory over Nigel Adkins Irons.
New boy Darius Henderson has done himself the world of good after scoring on his Blades debut with fellow strike partner Danny Webber also bagging his fifth pre-season goal.
The Blades front line at the beginning of the game didn't include Webber and Henderson because Jon Stead and Billy Sharp who was making a return to Glanford Park were given the duties to start the game.

Scunthorpe pressed for an equaliser but it wasn't to be as the Blades doubled their lead on 84 minutes. Montgomery's cross got tangled around in the Scunthorpe area and Darius Henderson on his first Blades appearance could latch onto the loose ball to wrap up the victory.
