Strikes from Lee Willamson and Stephen Quinn ensured Sheffield United swept aside a fruitless Crystal Palace team. Willamson, deputising for the suspended Nick Montgomery, saw his shot at goal find its way under Speroni and trickle over the line for his first Sheffield United goal. After dominating from then on, unarguably for the next 69 minutes, in the 5 added minutes Stephen Quinn fired in a second to confirm United's surge into the top-half of the Coca-Cola Championship league standings.
