It's the only time you'll be able to see the Blades face the Owls this season! United's reserve side take on Wednesday's tonight at 7:00PM at Bramall Lane. United's reserves usually feature youngsters from the academy, but some familiar faces from the first-team are also expected to make an appearance at some point.
Entry is free for all season ticket holders and juniors under 16, otherwise, it's £2 for adults and £1 for seniors and students. Ahead of the game, reserve coach Mark Smith explains how it will be a different experience for the players to be playing at Bramall Lane instead of Sheffield FC's ground at Dronfield.
He said: "It will give it the feel of a proper game under floodlights and it will be good for the youngsters who will be included.
"We will have a decent team out so it all bodes well for a decent performance which is the most important aspect. We will get plenty out of the first-team players and also the kids that will take part.
"It adds a bit of spice for me and probably the home-grown lads and although it is a reserve game it is still a derby, so there are some bragging rights at stake and I want us to come out on top.
"It should be a decent atmosphere with a few more inside the ground and with what is at stake it should give the game an edge.
"We need games at Bramall Lane, to play on a good surface with proper facilities and with all due respect to Sheffield FC, some of the youngsters need this kind of experience to progress."
Blades Mad will bring you a report of the game.
