Our last league game did not go according to plan, our opponents were Watford who brought a strong squad to Bramall Lane.
United took the lead after only ten minutes through Wayne Allison but the game turned sour when Phil Jagielka judged to bring down Heidar Helguson in penalty area, Jagielka received a straight red card and Neil Cox scored the penalty.
The Hornets took the lead very quickly, Robinson's slick pass caught out United on left hand side and Helguson quickly scored. United put up a brave battle and deserved a point but Watford had one too many men and won 2-1.
The game against Watford was not our last as we were involved in the League Cup, United won comfortably 4-1 with Michael Boulding, Michael Brown (2) and Nick Montgomery scoring for United, Wycombe scored a late consolation through Jon McCarthy.
Going into our battle with Wolves, United have quite a list of injury's, Rob Kozluk (Shin), Paul Peschisolido (Achilles Tendon), Iffy Onoura (Achilles), Carl Asaba (Back), Steve Yates and Simon Tracey all out through injury.
United expect start with a strong line-up of: Kenny, Doane, Murphy, Page, Ullathorne, McGovern, McCall, Brown, Tonge, Allison, Ndlovu.
The Wolves:
Wolverhampton Wanderers have failed to win their last two league games, last Saturday they crashed 1-0 to a Paul Dikov penalty at Walkers Bowl Stadium.
The Wolves too were playing in League Cup and also in South Yorkshire against our rivals Rotherham United. Andy Monkhouse put Millers in front after five minutes and on the stoke of half time Shaun Newton equalised with a penalty.
In second half Miller (58mins) and Rae (70mins) put Wolves a head but a Mark Robins penalty and Chris Swailes (86min) put Millers level to send game into extra time.
With only three minutes gone in extra time ex-Wednesday reject Richard Barker put The Millers in front again, but in last minute (120min) a strange own goal by ex-blade Rob Scott made it 4-4.
On penalties Rotherham won 4-2, Swailes, Bryan, Hurst and Mullin scored their penalty's (Robins missed) while only Sturridge and Blake scored for Wolves (Newton and Irwin failed to score).
Wolves also have a string of injury's Kennedy (Groin) and Michael Oakes (Rib) are out, however they do have a knee epidemic with Mo Camera, Colin Cameron and Keith Andrews (out since last season) all out through injury.
The Wolves are expected to line up something like this: Murray, Irwin, Lescott, Butler, Rae, Ince, Cooper, Newton, Sturridge, Blake.
bladesfc.co.uk would like to thank Scott Copper, editor of Wanderers Way (www.wanderersway.co.uk) for supplying us with team injury's and line up for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Last Season:
In last seasons trip to Molineux United put a good performance but a Dean Sturridge strike on half-time won the game 1-0 for Wolves.
Prediction:
Wolves are lingering around mid-table and are desperate for three points, United are 6th and I think United can get a well earned draw at a difficult ground.
