One win and one loss is the record so far in the South Yorkshire derbies for the Blades and current top scorer Beattie knows how important it is give United supporters the bragging rights.
Beatts said: "It's good for the fans, but we have a job to do and the most important thing for us - whether we are playing Doncaster of Chelsea - is the three points.
"We are looking to go there and put in a real good performance and that fact that it is a derby just adds that bit more for the fans. We will be looking to send ours home happy on Saturday.
"I remember playing there last year in awful conditions and hopefully we can get the same result. The team is creating plenty of chances and the Gaffer came out with a stat that we have had 100 chances in the last 8 games, which is unbelievable really, so maybe our luck will change soon."
