He said: "They got beaten against Reading, but they're a physical side with good players. They've kept their side together since relegation whereas we've had to release more of our team from the Premier League, so it will be another hard game.
"Beattie is an outstanding player at this level and someone we need to cast an eye over. I would think he would interest Premier League managers as he's certainly good enough to play regularly in the top flight.
"We go into the game on the back of two solid performances and hopefully we'll get a result."
