Three players were out on international duty in midweek, therefore they were unable to feature in the Blades' Carling Cup tie on Tuesday - Ched Evans, Kyle Walker and David Cotterill all come into contention.

Striker Jamie Ward returns from suspension. He received two yellow cards in the play-off final in May, and he also picked up a red card whilst playing for Chesterfield at the start of last season, but he is now available for selection.

Lee Hendrie meanwhile will serve his penultimate game in a four match ban. Paddy Kenny is still unavailable, but a hearing is about to take place next week.

Mark Bunn is likely to step back in goal after his ineligibility on Tuesday to play in the Carling Cup.

Danny Graham, a summer acquisition from Carlisle United is expected to feature for the Hertfordshire outfit. He netted the Hornets' only goal of the game against Doncaster Rovers at Vicarage Road last week.
