Sheffield United vs. Stevenage

The Blades could win promotion this weekend if they claim all three points at home to Stevenage, whilst in an early kick-off Brentford claim maximum points at home to Sheffield Wednesday. A draw at Griffin Park wouldn't prove a disaster (for the Blades) as long as United win their home match.

There promotion hopes were dealt a massive blow when they lost 1-0 at play-off rivals Milton Keynes Dons; former Manchester United and Newcastle United striker Alan Smith (16 minutes) scoring the goal. On 67 minutes the home side were reduced to ten men when Daniel Powell was sent off for two book able offences.

Blades boss Danny Wilson has a selection headache ahead of tomorrow's game; Lescinel Jean-Francois (knee) and Chris Morgan (knee) are both absent through injury. Though he is without Erik Tonne (York City) who is away out on loan. Winger Michael O'Halloran, 21 could make his Sheffield United full debut after arriving on loan from Bolton Wanderers. The Blades are also without Ched Evans who was handed a five year prison sentence after being found guilty of rape.

Stevenage, who saw off play-off hopefuls Brentford (2-1) last weekend are expected to field a full strengthen side against United and could field former Sheffield United striker Jordan Slew.
