The Blades hope to extend there unbeaten run this season but despite losing points on the road have yet to be beaten yet this season. United have five points to there name and lay eighth in the table before this weekends fixtures after drawing 1-1 last week at Colchester United - John Cofie putting the Blades into the lead before former Sheffield Wednesday forward Clinton Morrison levelled the scores.
Last season the Blades completed the doubled over Bournemouth; winning 2-0 with the aid of two own goals at Dean Court on 17 De4cember - whilst on 7 April goals from Ched Evans and Richard Cresswell secured a two-one victory at the Lane.
Former Sheffield Wednesday and Leicester City striker Richard Cresswell is now available for selection after taking a new role within the club as player/manager and is expected to play his first match of the season this weekend against the Cherries.
The Cherries lay 15th in the League One table following three successive draws in the first three matches of the season- each ending in a 1-1 draws at Portsmouth and in home matches against Milton Keynes Dons and in last Saturday's fixture against Preston North End.

The Cherries are likely to field full-back Simon Francis, 27 to face his former club. He joined the Blades in a £200,000 deal from Bradford City in March 2004; making his debut in a 2-1 defeat at Cardiff City but he found first team opportunities rare and after joining Southend United on a free transfer in June 2006 after making just 8 (+7) appearances without scoring. He has also played at Grimsby Town and Tranmere Rovers in loan spells.
