Clough ready for Blades bow
Sheffield United manager Nigel Clough has no new injury or suspension worries for his first match in charge against Crewe.
Clough, installed as David Weir's replacement this week, could select his side from an unchanged squad, although striker Jose Baxter (thigh) and defender Matt Hill (dead-leg) remain doubtful after missing the goalless midweek draw at Peterborough.
Forward Shaun Miller made his first appearance since Boxing Day off the bench in last week's win over Port Vale following a long-term knee injury, but was an unused substitute on Tuesday night.
The likes of striker Marlon King, winger Jamie Murphy and midfielder Florent Cuvelier are all pushing for recalls to the starting line-up.
Crewe boss Steve Davis will run the rule over Brad Inman and Harry Davis ahead of the trip to Bramall Lane.
Inman has been out with a virus while Davis has made good progress in his recovery from a knee injury, but this clash could come too soon for the duo.
Ollie Turton is rated as doubtful after he sustained a hip injury and Mathias Pogba (knee) remains out.
Young forward Ryan Colclough is close to returning from a groin injury but is unlikely to recover in time for the match.
