Blades unchanged for Bees clash
Sheffield United manager Chris Morgan is expected to pick his side to face Brentford from an unchanged squad.
Veteran striker Richard Cresswell has returned from his loan spell at York, but sustained an Achilles injury in his last game for the Minstermen at Northampton on Saturday and is not expected to feature.
Morgan, who has no new injury or suspension problems, is likely to retain Chris Porter and Dave Kitson up front after the Blades ended their three-game goal drought at Bramall Lane with victory over Swindon at the weekend.
Midfielders Callum McFadzean and Elliott Whitehouse, plus fellow teenager Joe Ironside, all stepped off the bench at the weekend and are likely to be named among the substitutes again.
The Blades can climb to within three points of second-placed Bournemouth with a game in hand if they can secure back-to-back home wins.
Brentford are waiting on midfielder Harry Forrester.
The Bees playmaker has missed their last two matches with a groin injury but could travel to South Yorkshire.
Skipper Jonathan Douglas may be rested having played on with a knock in recent weeks, so fellow midfielder Jake Reeves could get the nod.
Defender Scott Barron is still recovering from a hip operation and is out for the season along with back-up goalkeeper Richard Lee, who has had shoulder surgery.
Manager Uwe Rosler as no other injury worries ahead of the clash as they aim to leapfrog Bournemouth into second position.
Rosler's side are unbeaten in their last three league matches, winning two, and are four points clear of the Blades.
