Sharp, 24 came through the youth ranks at the Lane before completing a move to Scunthorpe United in August 2005 - following promotion with the Iron he was swiftly snapped by Blades boss Bryan Robson in a £2,000,000 transfer.
However life at the Lane hasn't been great and despite netting a hat-trick against Queens Park Rangers last season has found goals in a red and white shirt scarce and in September 2009 he joined Doncaster Rovers on loan until the end of the season having made a total of 48 (+18) appearances and scoring just 13 goals.
He has won over the hearts of the Rovers fans, netting fifteen goals in thirty-two appearances this season for the Keepmoat club.
Under the terms and conditions of the loan deal, Sharp is eligible to feature against the Blades tomorrow though manger Sean O'Driscall opted not to feature the forward against United in the 1-1 draw at Bramall Lane earlier this season.
Should he feature he would be expected to receive a positive response from the few thousand travelling Wizards who would like to see the hot shot return to Sheffield 2!
