The game set to end a finale 1-1, a score line which was deserved by both teams on the field but it was the Bluebirds who had the last say; substitute Jason Koumas netting a brace in stoppage time to win the game 3-1.
City boss Dave Jones has a string of injuries to his side, yet still will bring a strong squad to S2 tomorrow night as third placed Cardiff look to steal second spot off Norwich City.
They will travel to Bramall Lane without; Michael Chopra (hamstring), Mark Hudson (knee) and keeper David Marshall (elbow) are all sidelined through injury.
