The Blades were victorious at Ipswich Town a fortnight ago in the FA Cup but they haven't won a league match away from the Lane since 17th November at Burton. In fact, the S2 side haven't registered a league win since Boxing Day.
New signing Ricky Holmes, who was signed from Charlton Athletic this week could make his debut for the Blades at Carrow Road. He became Chris Wilder's fourth signing during the January transfer window. Fellow newbies Ryan Leonard and Lee Evans will also be looking to make their debuts.
On loan Manchester United striker James Wilson made his debut in the goalless draw with Wednesday a week ago. He came off the bench (replacing Clayton Donaldson) and willbe looking to make his starting debut this weekend.
Norwich City have (potentially) a depleted squad follwing the exits of key players Cameron Jermone to Derby County this week, Alex Pritchard to Huddersfield Town (£11m), and Steven Naismith (loan) to Scottish side Hearts of Midlothian.
The Canaries have targets to bolster their squad and may make signings prior to the Blades visit this weekend.
United will be hoping that Wednesday night's FA Cup replay at Chelsea will have took its toll on the Canaries. Having drawn the initial fixture 0-0, a replay took place at Stamford Bridge. The game also finished all square; 1-1, with extra-time required. Chelsea saw two players dismissed but saw out 120 minutes to win the game 5-3 in a penalty shoot-out.
