The Yorkshire man will bring his table topping side to Bramall Lane looking for their 7th consecutive victory of the season. McCarthy believes their is no underdog in tonight's encounter.
He said: "There's probably no underdog tonight, and no favourtie. Both teams are very much on a par, and maybe in a strange way they have more to lose because it is their home game.
"Fortress Bramall Lane, fortress Molineux - we hear all that stuff - or if you win your home games you've got a chance. They are under as much pressure tonight as we are. and we're not going somewhete where it's perceived or expected that we will definitely win.
"They are a good solid side with a good squad of players who got a fabulous result at Charlton on Saturday. They will be in the mix for promotion, no question about that."
