That day (October 2005) the Blades pulled out a 4-0 victory at the New Den; Danny Webber netted twice in a hammering blow for the Lions who were eventually relegated that season with the Blades going the other way - Vincent Pericard and Alan Quinn also netted.

United come into this fixture after a 2-2 draw at Leicester City on Wednesday night. Paul Gallacher set the home side on their way after only eight minutes but Mark Yeates netted twice (29 & 41) to hand the Blades a 2-1 lead.

Four minutes were added at the end of the second half; during those extra minutes the Foxes were awarded a penalty after Yeates was deemed to have handballed - Steve Howard finished off the spot kick.

The Blades are without a number of key players; Captain Chris Morgan (knee) has been sidelined for the remainder of the season through injury, whilst; Nick Montgomery (Achilles), Ryan France (back), Stephen Jordan (hamstring),Darius Henderson (hamstring) and Lee Williamson (back) are also unavailable.

However, Blades boss Gary Speed would have been delighted to see both Stephen Jordan and Andy Reid return from injury and both played at part in the draw at the Walkers Stadium. Reid is currently on a month's loan from Sunderland.

Expected Eleven: Simonsen, Lowton, Bartley, Ertl, Nosworthy, Yeates, Montgomery, Britton, Reid, Cresswell, Evans.

A last minute goal rescued a point for Millwall as they drew 1-1 with Norwich City at the New Den on Tuesday night; youngster John Marquis on his fourth appearance for the club netted his first ever goal in the 90th minute to salvage a point after David Fox (75) had handed the Canaries a lead.

Lion's boss Kenny Jackett isn likely to face the Blades without a recognised strike force; Theo Robinson (knee) has returned to Huddersfield Town for treatment whilst Neil Harris (ankle) is also sidelined.

However he is lifted by the news that forward Steve Morison returns from a one match suspension.

Expected Eleven: Forde, Robinson, Mkandawire, Barron, Shittu, Dunne, Trotter, Henry, Schofield, Grabbon, Marquis.
