United could potentially complete double wins over the Eagles this season following a dramatic game against Crystal Palace last November when United came from 1-2 down with five minutes remaining to win the game 3-2.

Neil Danns (18 minutes) netted from the spot after he had been fouled by Jean Calve but on 39th minute Richard Cresswell put his penalty away following Ched Evans tumble in the box.

Palace was reduced to ten men when Owen Garvan was dismissed for descent. Early in the second half the visitors took the lead via the head of James Vaughan before Julian Speroni kept out an assault of chances before Evans (85) finally broke the deadlock.

Minutes later Daniel Bogdanovic was fouled in the box and he stepped up to the breach to win the game before he too was sent off; 3-2.

United come into this fixture after a lucky escape against Reading on Tuesday night; the Royals looked to have had the game in the bag when Shane Long capitalised on poor defending to fire home nine minutes from time.

But the hosts were to have the last say as Daniel Bogdanovic picked himself up after being floored in the penalty area to slot home his spot kick; 1-1.

Blades boss Micky is without a number of players; Joe Mattock (knee), Ched Evans (ill), Ryan France (back), Richard Wright (thigh), Darius Henderson (hamstring) and Andy Taylor (leg) are all missing through injury.

He is also without defender Robert Kozluk who serves the last of a three match ban following his late sending off at Ipswich Town little over a week ago; Matt Lowton is expected to take his place.

Expected Eleven:  Simonsen, Parrino, Ertl, Collins, Lowton, Yeates, Williamson, Quinn, Riise, Cresswell, Vokes.

Crystal Palace’s troubles on the road continued last weekend as they found themselves on the wrong end of a 2-1 score line at Coventry City.

The Eagles have the worst away record in the Championship and this showed as Richard Wood (34) and Marlon King (79) hit the Sky Blues into a deserved lead before substitute Steffen Iversen (90) scored a scant consolation for the visitors.

Palace manager Dougie Freeman is likely to be without full-back Neil Danns (back) through injury with David Wright taking his place. Meanwhile fellow full-back Lee Hills (knee) is out with a long term injury.

Expected Eleven: Speroni, Gardner, McCarthy, Moxey, Clyne, Wright, Ambrose, Garvan, Vaughan, Zaha, Easter.
