Coventry City head into this midweek fixture after coming off the back of a 2-1 win at Norwich City, but the Blades will no doubt be hoping that there attentions will be turned to this Saturday when they host Premiership heavyweights Chelsea at the Ricoh Arena.
The Sky Blues will be without Leon McKenzie who has been ruled out for the season, he ruptured his Achilles in their 1-0 victory over rivals Birmingham City on 21st February.
Possible Sky Blues Line-Up: Kieran Westwood, Stephen Wright, Elliott Ward, Scott Dann, Daniel Fox, Jordan Henderson, Guillaume Beuzelin, Aron Gunnarsson, David Bell, Leon Best, Clinton Morrison.
Sheffield United, who currently lay fifth in the table before the midweek fixtures could potentially be second in the league come this Sunday if they claim all six points available to them when they visit the Ricoh Arena tomorrow and Loftus Road on Saturday, although results elsewhere would need to go in there favour.
They put themselves into a play-off place with a 2-1 win over Birmingham City last Sunday; Danny Webber got United off to a flying start when he knocked home after Darius Henderson's flick on. City levelled when captain Chris Morgan put through his own net with 15 minutes remaining but shortly after David Cotterill netted his first Blades goal from the penalty spot after Craig Beattie was pushed.
Blades Boss Kevin Blackwell has no fresh injury worries ahead of the game at City but will be without; Derek Geary (knee), Gary Speed (back) and Ugo Ehiogu (hamstring) who are all out for the remainder of the season.
Possible Blades Line-Up: Paddy Kenny, Kyle Naughton, Chris Morgan, Matthew Kilgallon, Gary Naysmith, David Cotterill, Stephen Quinn, Nick Montgomery, Greg Halford, Darius Henderson, Danny Webber.
