Charlton Athletic are expected to remain unchanged from the team that won 2-0 at Preston North End last Saturday. Goal scorers Zheng Zhi and Luke Varney are expected to play some part on Tuesday night.

Much travelled left full-back Chris Powell is however going to be missing; the former Derby County defender has returned to training following his ankle injury but will require a few reserve outings to improve his fitness.

Likely Addicks Line-Up: Nicky Weaver, Zheng Zhi, Jose Victor Moreira Semedo, Danny Mills, Jonathan Fortune, Grant Basey, Sam Sodje, Jerome Thomas, Lloyd Sam, Andy Reid, Chris Iwelumo.

Sheffield United go into a run of two difficult away fixtures at the Valley at Coventry City next Saturday with a 1-0 home defeat to Plymouth Argyle; Peter Halmosi netting the games only goal.

The Blades could welcome back Lee Hendrie who has returned to first team action since recovering from injury; but Rob Hulse isn't quite ready to make the substitutes bench.

Possible Blades Line-Up: Ian Bennett, Phil Bardsley, Gary Cahill, Matthew Kilgallon, Gary Naysmith, David Carney, Michael Tonge, Nick Montgomery, Keith Gillespie, Danny Webber, James Beattie.
