blackpool vs. sheffield united
Blackpool, whom under manager Ian Holloway have remained unbeaten at Bloomfield Road to date this season and guided themselves into 5th spot after a 2-0 win over luckless Plymouth Argyle; Marcel Seip (31 minutes) and David Vaughan (64) scoring for Pool.

It was in some irony that defender Marcel Seip scored for the Seasiders; the Dutchman was making his debut after joining on loan from the Pilgrims - he was allowed to play against his registered club by manager Paul Sturrock and repaid his new club with a goal against his former club!

The Bloomfield Road club head into their game with Sheffield United without an injuries, however they could be without Ismael Demontagnac who was sent off for the reserves last week in their game against Preston North End; he has been told he will serve a

suspension but its unclear as to when it will start.

Possible Seasiders Line-Up: Matt Gilks, Ian Evatt, Marcel Seip, Alex John-Baptiste, Stephen Crainey, Hameur Bouazza, Charlie Adam, Keith Southern, David Vaughan, Billy Clarke, Ben Burgess.

Sheffield United head into this fixture with Blackpool in the wake of an awful display at Scunthorpe United which they subsequently lost 3-1. Grant McCann (22) had handed the home side the lead, but the Blades were back in it when Welsh international Ched Evans (51) turned home a free-kick.

They say that the time your most venerable is when you score, and on this was the case when Paul Hayes (53) fired home - the points were sealed on a miserable day for Blades fans when Grant McCann (59) was again on the score sheet.

The Blades will most certainly be travelling to Bloomfield Road without keeper Paddy Kenny who was handed a nine month ban in early September and is expected to return in April 2010; on loan shot stopper Mark Bunn (Blackburn Rovers) is expected to take his place.

United, however will also be without strikers Jamie Ward (leg) and Richard Cresswell (rib), midfielder Lee Williamson (back) who looks to require sugary after a pre-season out injured as well as Nick Montgomery (ligaments), Gary Speed (back) and Gary Naysmith (knee).

Blades boss Kevin Blackwell could wheel out defender Andy Taylor and winger Kyel Reid to face their former clubs this Tuesday night.

Kyel Reid spent just two months on loan (from West Ham United) at Bloomfield Road during the 2008/09 season; he made his debut at Plymouth Argyle in a 2-1 win in November 2008 - he made a total of seven (+0) appearances without scoring.

Defender Andy Taylor was on loan to Blackpool (from Blackburn Rovers) in February 2006; he made his Seasiders debut in a 1-1 draw at AFC Bournemouth and went onto to make just three appearances for the club.

Possible Blades Line-Up: Mark Bunn, Kyle Walker, Chris Morgan, Matthew Kilgallon, Jordan Stewart, Glen Little, Stephen Quinn, James Harper, Keith Treacy, Ched Evans, Darius Henderson.

Blades-Mad Prediction: Blackpool 0-0 Sheffield United
