Jones refereed United's South Yorkshire derby at Barnsley last month where United were defeated 1:0. Jones also officiated Wednesday night's top-of-the-table clash between Arsenal and Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium - it ended 0:0 but saw two straight red cards.
Mike started refereeing at 15, and is now in his 18th season on the National List.
