With United having an unbeaten home run since March, its vitally important that Kevin Blackwell's troops keep the great run in tact. Reading Gaffer Steve Coppell knows that the Blades will be looking for revenge.
"If anything, the results will give them a 'records are broken' mentality. If it was the other way round I know we'd want to put an end to it. They won't want to be whipping boys, they will be revved up for the game, that much is for certain.
"In the past they've maybe been distracted and the emphasis has been taken away from the game. Now there's new management, they've got real designs on promotion and they're in a rich vein of form.
"They've got good experience in the team, as well as young players coming through, and they're earning results, it's no fluke. If they beat us they go above us it's all to play for.
"They've got experience from the top division with the likes of Speed, Beattie, Morgan and Kenny. It's a deep squad too, injuries have not affected them in recent weeks. For us it's a long way to go, you don't want to waste that journey and we want to get something from the game."
