Meanwhile Gary Naysmith and Darius Henderson are doubts and Brian Howard comes back into the equation after being unable to play against the Tykes.
Kevin Blackwell said: "I will look at the options available but he can only add strength to the squad, and to have him back and Hnederson and Naysmith getting close again is great.
"Darius is definitely back in the fold, he's training with the first team and will probably have a run in the reserves next week. In terms of being considered for the first team he is probably about a week away."
Ex Blade Chris Armstrong is expected to face his former club while Graeme Murty is a definate absentee.
