Morgan was hit with concussion last weekend when he accidentally clashed with Dexter Blackstock's knee. Morgan has travelled to the seaside but is a major doubt.
Do we need to worry though as the experienced Ugo Ehiogu is a trustable replacement. His fabulous last-gasp tackle against QPR denied Rangers scoring a consolation.
James Beattie and Keith Gillespie are still sidelined with their respective injuries. Ian Bennett also picked up a little niggle in the reserves so Justin Haber could be named on the substitutes bench behind Paddy Kenny.
On Morgan, Blackwell said: "Obviously, though, Chris Morgan is a concern but he sees a neurologist shortly and the decision will be the specialist's.
"The problem is that Chris lost 25 minutes of memory and apparently in that time he had about thirty texts from the lads telling him that he owed them money.
"He hasn't trained at all yet this week and it might be that it is though best to leave him out this weekend as a precaution. Ugo has always done well when he has started or come on as a replacement so there are absolutely no worries on that score if Morgs doesn't make it."
