Sheffield United have placed defender Robert Kozluk on the transfer list following relegation from the Premiership despite eight years of service at Bramall Lane.
Kozluk, 29 was signed by Steve Bruce way back in March 1999 involving a swap deal that took him and Jonathan Hunt to Bramall Lane and Vassilis Borbokis going the other way.
Despite the attraction from a host of Championship clubs it is apparent that Yorkshire rivals Leeds United are interested his signature. This could be used as a good bargain tool as the Blades are chasing the much wanted David Healy.
Meanwhile both Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday are chasing Scunthorpe United striker Billy Sharp who is rated at a cost of £2,000,000. He is still under contract at Glanford Park but is believed that he will move on, any money made on the striker will see 25% of the sale head straight back to Bramall Lane.
