The Blades are just three points clear of West Ham United who hold that last relegation spot, a point at Aston Villa on Saturday with other results edging an advantage to United should see in the Premier League next season.
The Blades boss said; "I'd like to be able to go to Chelsea and be able to play like we play at home."
He has already got his eye on a few signings already with Hull City keeper Boaz Myhill as his main target, although face competition with former club Aston Villa and Wigan Athletic for his signature.
Meanwhile Alan Smith (Manchester United), Phil Neville (Everton), Lee Hendrie (Aston Villa) and David Nugent (Preston North End) has been named as potential signings.
