Shaw came to the Lane in January for a nominal fee and scored on his debut when he came off the subs bench to fire home past West Ham United in that dramatic 3-3 draw.
This summer he would have been a free transfer if he had stayed at Gillingham, but Neil Warnock took the striker early. But apparently it seems Shaw is missing his old life at the Priestfield Stadium and manger Andy Hessenthaler is to offer Shaw a return.
It is believed that £70,000 would be enough to take him back or a swap with Mamady Sidebe is on the cards.
