Neil Shipperley, who scored the winner against West Ham United earlier this year in the Play-Off final to reach the Premiership has been shoved out of the Eagles Eleven after manager Ian Dowie was forced to strengthen his squad.

Less than a few weeks ago Neil contacted Ronnie Moore at Rotherham United requesting a move to Millmoor, but the South Yorkshire club stated that his wages were too high.
Now that Barry Hayles has left for London it looks as though Shipperley is to be offered a place at Bramall Lane either on loan or with a permanent place. Also, don't forget that Neil played with Ashley Ward and Chris Morgan during their rein at Barnsley.
