Taylor, 29 (pictured) is wanted by London club Millwall having spent two spells with the New Den club. He was their permanently until signing for Rovers in 2013 having previously been employed by hometown club Oldham Athletic. More recently he enjoyed a loan spell with Millwall and help guide them to a Play-Off Final defeat at Wembley were Barnsley were the 3-1 winners last Sunday, he was also on target as the Lions beat United 1-0 last March on his second debut for the club.
With Blackburn Rovers looking to offload a number of players this summer (they have already released Matt Kilgallon and Lee Williamson), Taylor looks to among the number of professionals leaving Ewood Park with Millwall and Sheffield United showing a keen interest.
Blades boss Chris Wilder will be eager to bolster his virtually non-existent midfield having allowed a number of players to exit Bramall Lane this summer only Mark Duffy, Chris Basham, Stefan Scougall, Ben Whiteman, Louis Reed and transfer-listed trio Dean Hammond, Paul Coutts and Martyn Woolford remain
A move to Millwall may look the obvious choice but he may wish to stay up North?
