An email to Blades-Mad from an unnamed source over the weekend suggested that O'Toole was in Sheffield agreeing terms with the Bramall Lane club - whilst he didn't feature in the Hornets 3-1 loss at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
O'Toole, 20 bust into the Hornets team via there youth system - making his debut in August 2007 in a 2-0 defeat at Southend United in the League Cup - he obviously made a lasting impression has he became a regular from then on. To date he has made 39 (+26) appearances and scored 12 goals.
The Blades have already added two players from the Vicarage Road line-up this season with notably Darius Henderson joining last summer; again in a £2,000,000 deal whilst Leigh Bromby joined recently on loan until the end of the 2008/09 season.
