Hammomnd, 32 was a reported target for Nigel Adkins Blades until he signed a new deal at the King Power Stadium and was deemed unavailable for transfer, with Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri retaining the midfielder as backup.
To date, he has yet to make an appearance in the Premier League this season, but despite seemingly making attempts, the Blades have failed to secure his loan services. Now it appears that Nottingham Forest are looking to snap up the midfielder.
It is unclear if Adkins interest in the former Southampton player is high but with a number of midfielders already on the United books, it would be hoped by supporters, that he look at other positions first.
