N'Guessan, 21 is highly rated and its common knowledge that the French midfielder wishes to leave Sincil Bank in the summer, whilst manager Peter Jackson (ex-Huddersfield Town) won't stand in his way.
An extract from unofficial Lincoln City website, the forgotten Imp (www.theimp.lincolnfans.co.uk) reads;
Dany N'Guessan is an unknown quantity at present after joining Lincoln City FC in January 2007 from Glasgow Rangers. He joined Rangers for £150,000 in summer 2005 from French club Auxerre. It was reported that Manchester City were among several clubs who Rangers beat to sign N'Guessan.
N'Guessan left Rangers without making a first team appearance. However, he played regularly for Boston United between August 2006 to January 2007 when he spent three months on loan at the Lincolnshire club.
He began to find his feet during the 2007/08 season but consistency was a problem, as often he could be brilliant while at other times he could look lost. Hopefully, he will have learnt a lot from that season and will be ready to terrorise defences during the 2008/09 season. Probably the most skilful player on the books of Lincoln City FC.
N'Guessan is nicknamed "the gasman" after former Imp manager George Kerr's pronunciation of N'Guessan's name while commentating on Lincoln's matches!
Sheffield United have already agreed to take part in a friendly fixture at Sincil Bank, whom were the Blades first ever opponents in the Football League - its understood that this friendly will form part of the deal to bring N'Guessan's to Bramall Lane.
