Robinson, who is set to join Rotherham United next week is set to join Beautiful Down Town Bramall Lane instead of Rusty Millmoor, that is according to the Sunday tabloids.
The Welsh international has had a host of loan clubs since his transfer from Wolverhampton Wanderers in August 2002.
He started his career as a trainee at Wolves in 1995, he eventually went on to make 130 league starts for the Molineux club before moving onto the Shrews on loan.
Portsmouth snapped Robinson up for free where he has only played 11 games. He joined Sheffield Wednesday on loan in January 2003, making his debut in the 3-1 defeat at Bramall Lane.
Walsall also had him on loan and was sent off in a game against Crystal Palace, the Millers have had him on loan this season from August until December were he played 14 games.
