Cole (pictured left), 22 scored twice as Sheffield United fell to their last League defeat at Bramall Lane last January - and was an instrumental piece in the jigsaw as the Lancastrians reached the Play-Off Semi-Finals - losing to Bradford City.
Since beginning as a professional in 2014, the son of former Newcastle and Manchester United striker Andy Cole has had a number of clubs. He began his career with Manchester City, and enjoyed loan spells with Barnsley and Milton Keynes Dons. He was transferred to Bradford City in 2015 and joined Fleetwood Town in 2016. To date, he has made 56 appearances for the Cod Army and scored 10 goals. This season (so far) he has scored 3 goals in 3 games.
The transfer window will shut on Thursday, 31st August and we understand that Blades boss Chris Wilder is eager to bring in further additions to the squad. His pace and skill would prove an ideal addition to the Blades team.
