Ince, who signed for the Midlands club has played 102 (+ 6 as sub) games whilst scoring just 9 goals from Midfield. The former Inter Milan star is out of contract this summer though it is believed Wolves are preparing to offer a new one.
However Ince commented on how he might stay at Molineux; "Of course I would like to stay here," Ince told Express and Star. "For me it's not about the money these days it's about playing football.
"Everyone knows how much I love playing for Wolves and the affinity I've got with the fans.
"If I could have another year of that I'd be more than happy. Looking at the way the gaffer does play, it helps me immensely in that the position in front of the back four really suits me.
"If I can get the rest at the times when I need to I'm sure I can keep going and will be looking forward to playing another season."
Meanwhile it is believed that Winger Kevin Cooper is ready to quit Molineux in favour of a move to Bramall Lane. He has apparently (according to wolvesfc.co.uk) handed in a transfer request on the basis that Neil Warnock will sign him.
Cooper, who joined Wolves for 1MILLION in March 2002 from Wimbledon said; "I have enjoyed myself at Wolves and feel that I have a healthy relationship with the supporters."
"I have never given less than 100% for the club and I like to think that my attitude and professionalism has been of a high level.
"But I have felt frustrated by the lack of first team opportunities and, at my age, I need to be playing regularly in the first team. It's no good to me to be playing in fits and starts."
According to the unofficial Wolves website it is believed Mr. Warnock watched Cooper play in a recent reserve game against Bolton Wanderers where he hit the bar. A figure of £500,000 for his signature has also been given.
