Known better (amongst the social media World) as smiggy, Tommy, aged 15 boasted on tweeter, prior to Stoke City's League Cup clash with Chelsea that he would, on his 17th birthday, have the image of Peter Crouch tattooed on his bottom should the Potters beat Chelsea.
Having taken the lead he must have been quite concerned for his posterior when Stoke took the lead, but rather relieved when Chelsea levelled late on, but City hung on in extra-time and eventually won on penalties.
His tweeting didn't stop there, with Sheffield Wednesday facing Arsenal in the same competition, he was highly confident that the Gunners would find a safe and easy passage into the Quarter-Finals, this wasn't to be as Wednesday slammed into an impressive 3-0 lead.
"I was really confident Arsenal would batter Wednesday, and Chelsea would beat Stoke," the teenager said. "I thought I'd get away with it when Stoke won... I never thought Crouch would see the tweet!
"But I didn't stop there, either and the next thing? Wednesday 3, Arsenal 0. So when I'm old enough, I have to go through with it and have Callux and Peter Crouch inked on me. How did Wednesday beat Arsenal? And Stoke beat Chelsea? I had so much confidence tweeting those two!"
He has since been invited to the SkySports and SoccerAM studio to announce his defeat live on air, and on his 17th birthday will be inked and in two years’ time will reappear on tv to show off his misfortune.
Ironically, the Owls will travel to Stoke in the next round of the Cup where I am sure Tommy will, this time, decline to comment on his predicted result.
