Kevin Blackwell's managerial team and of course the lads all had a tour around the 90,000 seater stadium as he didn't want everyone to be overwhelmed come the final on the 25th. Arturo Lupoli has already played on the turf of Wembley Stadium, he came on as a substitute in the first competitive game in the 'new stadium'.

He said: "I played here with the Italian U21's against England in the first competitive game. I played the last 25 minutes after coming on as a substitute - I am part of the history of the first game.

"Nothing has changed since then, it is still an unbelievable stadium.

Meanwhile Welshman David Cotterill has really come out of his shell at the back end of this season, and has also dispatched four penalties which means a 100% record from the spot.

He gave his insight: "It's beautiful (the stadium). The layout is similar to the Millennium Stadium but the pitch, at first glance, looks better. Obviously it hasn't got to cope with all the rugby that's played in Cardiff.

"I've seen Wembley on the TV and thought it looked spectacular and now that I've been that is definitely the case. It is great that we have been given the chance to have a look around. Hopefully it will be a great place to win the play-off final and all our minds are set on doing just that."
