Sheffield United manager Gary Speed was disappointed with his side's display in terms of both quality and effort in the 2-0 defeat at Doncaster. The Blades were hoping to clinch back-to-back wins for the first time this season after the midweek victory at Hull, but Speed's side fell short in all areas. Speed said: "To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. Our first-half performance was unacceptable for Sheffield United really. "Doncaster wanted it more than us. They were first to everything, second balls, tackles, headers, they won everything. "They thoroughly deserved it and for me that's unacceptable. If we're not playing well, and you can't play well every week, but if that's not working then you've to make up for it in other areas and we didn't do that."
