The Blades have got off to a slow start having drew 1-1, 0-0, lost 0-1 and then that 1-0 win over Preston which lifted them to 13th place with five points. The Bramall Lane club now look to a top 6 place by end of the month with a hopeful win over Leeds on Sunday.
He said: "I'm ever so proud of them. It was a good performance. They've done well but we've not got the results so far.
"I'm not disappointed with the performances, it's disappointing we haven't scored more goals. But I'm confident that will come."
