Andy Liddell as decided that his days at Wigan Athletic are up and refused to sign a new deal, but last Friday he was supposed to be signing for another un-named club but obviously this deal hasn't taken place.
"I know what I want to do and I've already put some wheels in motion," Warnock told sheffieldtoday.net.
"There are a couple of options, but obviously I'm limited to what I can spend. But I'm hopeful of getting the right people.
"It's the spine I'm looking at, right down the middle."
