The Blades number one went through a number of tests in order to calculate the effects a season has on a manager, and after two semi-finals and a play-off final to contend with, who else would be a better manager to chose from?
The tests revealed that Mr. Warnock does have some furring arteries and veins, but these are not serious problems and can be reduced by a change of lifestyle.
"After losing the play-offs last season, the pressure is always on managers to turn in a good performance," Warnock told the Sheffield Star. "But my health is one thing I don't need to worry about.
"It's a huge relief to have spotted the signs of risk early on and, with some simple changes to lifestyle and diet, know that I can avoid illness in the future."
