Neil Warnock was as devastated as the rest of the 30,000 fans that packed the Millennium Stadium that saw the Blades lose convincingly 3-0 to Wolves in play-off final.
While on his family holiday the Blades Chief has insisted that he will try is best and do one better by going up automatically.
"We had a real good go and fell just short but that only fuelled our appetite to set our stall out to succeed this time," Warnock told www.sufc.co.uk.
"The way I look at this - we had five young players representing England and Ireland last week, and all of them want to do well for Sheffield United and that's a good sign."
"The board have told me we are not in a position in which we have to sell so there is no reason why we can't have the same players at our disposal again."
"We have had no offers for Michael Brown and unless we are offered silly money - and I really don't think we will be - I don't see why he won't be turning out for us again. We want him to stay and he is under contract."
