The 24 year old central defender joins the Blades for a cool £70,000 from Dalian Shide and will stay until the end of the season.
The Chinese International (whom has made 30 caps), was involved in the 2004 Asia Cup and helped his team to a league and cup double last year.
Yaohun came to Bramall Lane on trial in December and after impressing manager Neil Warnock joins fellow Chinese star Hao Haidong and Korean striker San Lee in Sheffield.
Meanwhile the Blades have completed the takeover of Chinese Second Division side Chengdu Five Bulls Football Club. The English club have bought a 90% stake in the club.
The club, was officially bought on Wednesday (11 January 2006) and will now be renamed to Chengdu Sheffield United. Terms of the deal were not disclosed but United will send two coaches to the new club.
Lets just hope the new club can be as successful as the Blades, we hope (if possible) to try and get as many updates on CSUFC right here on Blades-Mad.
