Maguire, 20 who was part of the 2011 FA Youth Cup runners-up side which lost in the final (over two legs) to Manchester United is repoprtedly being chased by the Red Devils in a deal said to be worth £4,000,000. The Old Tafford club are believed to have dismissed any rumours but there is also suggestion that London based clubs Arsenal and Chelsea are lilkley to persue.
Blades boss David Weir wasn't sure on Maguires future at Bramall Lane but did make a statement; ‘I don’t know anything about the interest in Harry, but it is great news for our players to be linked with such big clubs, Harry has a lot of attributes, for a young lad he has played a lot of games, and I would not be surprised if clubs were looking at him. But we don’t want to lose him.’
Meanwhile youngster Elliot Whitehouse, 19 who also appeared in the same cup final as Maguire has joined League Two outfit York City in a months loan to gain experience.
