He describes how he, and everyone associated with the club are going to get the Blades back to the promise land. He starts off by commenting on the 'dynamic board' of Sheffield United.
"We have a dynamic board that wants to move forward and Sam and myself are delighted to be given the opportunity to drive the club.
"It was noticeable how much the club has moved on since i left a few years ago. The chairman's aim is to make the club to the top ten and that is realistic."
On his appointment he said:"I'm proud to be named the manager of this club, it is something i have worked towards, and i've been delighted with the response from the fans and chairman."
Then speaking on his aims:"The aim in my three years is to get in to the Premiership. The club is geard for it and i believe it will be a faliure if we don't do so.
"If you come to a club with ambition you have to put yourself under pressure - the Blades way is hard work and commitment."
