Despite the Blades success in the league Webber has found himself left out. He was injured prior to the Coventry City home game on 27 August after breaking down in the warm up with an hamstring injury.
Since then Neil Warnock has brought in Vincent Pericard on loan from Portsmouth whilst Steven Kabba continues to hit the back of the net.
Webber made his comments to Team Talk about being left on the bench; "It's frustrating being on the bench but Kabbs and Shipps have been playing well so I've got to take my chance when I get it because it's a long season,"
"I just have to bide my time a little bit. I was unlucky losing my place through injury but that is the nature of football and now basically I've just got to win my place back."
And, after Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Reading the former Red Devils trainee is even more keener to return but is not surprised about their rich run of form.
"I'm not surprised about our start because we are full of confidence and there is good healthy competition around the place. When we came back for pre-season you could see that everyone had their head on.
"There is no reason why we can't pick up our form again. We lost against QPR and carried on the same way and got on with winning the games so there is no reason why we can't do that again.
"Everybody is taking points off everyone else so if we can keep on winning the majority of our games, with the players we've got, I'm sure we can pull through." Webber said after the defeat.
