Speed- We must believe

Sheffield United manager Gary Speed wants his players to start believing in themselves. The Blades have made an indifferent start to the npower Championship season, losing three of their seven matches, but hit back from the midweek trouncing by Scunthorpe at Bramall Lane to take three points off Portsmouth at the weekend. Speed said: "If I have a criticism of the boys it's that sometimes they don't really know how good they are, which convinces me that we can improve. "I was delighted with the way they went about the job because you can't play well every game and when you don't you have work even harder to get the result. "We had to show different qualities after playing well but losing in midweek. "They learnt a lot from that, so did I, and the lads improved their shape and discipline."
