Sheffield United manager Gary Speed has vented his frustration at the apparent inability of his side to be awarded a penalty. In Saturday's loss to Doncaster Speed conceded that his team deserved to lose but was astonished that his side were not awarded a second-half penalty when substitute Jamie Ward went down in the penalty area. United were last awarded a penalty when Darius Henderson converted from the spot at West Brom in January with their last home spot-kick coming when David Cotterill scored from 12 yards against the same opponents on August 29, last year. Speed told the Sheffield Star: "We don't get them (penalties). We've not had one at home for about 15 months. I don't know why. "Don't tell me that it's because we don't get the ball into the box because I've got a pile of incidents on DVD back in the office showing me that we do. It's remarkable how we never seem to get them. It really is."
