Sheffield United boss Gary Speed is relishing the prospect of taking charge of the side for the first time at Middlesbrough on Sunday. Speed was appointed the new boss earlier this week but faces a tough task against former Leeds team-mate Gordon Strachan's Boro side. "We've prepared all week and I'm excited. In my head I've virtually picked my team but I'll discuss it with John Carver and Sam Ellis before we talk to the players," Speed told the club's official website. "They are favourites to go up, they have spent a lot of money so it will be a good test for us. They have got strength in depth all around the pitch. "We'd love to pick up three points but we are not going to forfeit one to pick up three."
