Sheffield United's latest loan signing Andy Reid has refused to look beyond the initial month of his spell with the club. The Irish midfielder, who stepped off the bench on Saturday to make his debut after joining 24 hours earlier, has played only three games for Sunderland this season due a hamstring injury. Reid said: "Once the chance of a loan switch comes up it tends to happen quickly so I'm delighted to be here and, hopefully, I can do well for Sheffield United. "I haven't looked too far ahead. My initial spell is for a month and then we'll see what happens. "I haven't played much at all due to injuries but I have trained well and I'm feeling good at the moment. "Sunderland have been grinding out results and doing OK so the manager hasn't really had to change it too much. I just need games and we decided it was for the best that I came out on loan and this is a great club to come to."
